Both Beethoven and Mahler showed their talent in the early stage of their career. Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.2, thought published following his Piano Concerto No.1, was actually composed first. Song of Lamentation, one of Mahler's earliest works, was greatly revised over the next two decades after its completion. It is a difficult task to perform the work due to its large and complex scale, requiring a large orchestra and chorus. This concert features its premiere in Taiwan, marking an important milestone in Asian.
