With new programs and classics emerging around the island, enthusiastic audiences packed the venues and expected mental communication, giving a round of applause from the bottom of their hearts. Now 2021 Taiwan International Festival of Arts (TIFA) has geared up. In these programs, you will be traveling through the county and the city, the past and the present. And possibly, you might not be able to differentiate the human world and hell. Due to the global pandemic, tickets for 2021 TIFA's program will be available in two phases: 2020 December 1 and 2021 February 1. Here are some must you shouldn't miss out: Palaces , Our Theatre’s Taiwanese epic play that fights against the will of Heaven. Old Man Wonderland , a story about the exchange of memories brought by NTCH’s artist-in-residence FAN Chung-chi. Sheng Xiang & Band collaborates with CHANG Shiuan to present i-village Trilogy, a call for the homeland that blends traditional Hakka music and western rock. In River / Cloud , the new play by Stan LAI, we revisit the decades JIANG Binliu and YUN Zhifan had wasted in Secret Love for the Peach Blossom Spring . With Little Ant & Robot: A Nomad Café, Taiwanese choreographer HUANG Yi will brew out the sweet scent of childhood in the theater. No matter on stage or in the audience, we confront challenging problems and share very solutions together. We know you just cannot wait to embark on the journey, and we're about to set off. You won’t know what surprise will spring out until the last minute of the show. Petals fall endlessly, smoke curl all around; see how artists transform nature and replace the day with night.
