            為了明日,我們行動
            For Tomorrow, We Take Actions

            如果說人生好比一場遊戲,劇場,便可視為遊戲中一道道關卡的「儲存點」,陪伴我們接下
BEYOND: THE SPIRITS OF THE VISIONARIES

If we regard life as a game, the theaters can be viewed as “checkpoints” in each level,
accompanying us to go on from yesterday’s level and save us from starting over tomorrow.
Failure is never in vain. As long as we retake our steps, we will no longer be novice players
            starting from scratch.
This year the NTCH's ARTQUAKE IN AUTUMN will ring up the curtain with PRESS TO CONTINUE,
inviting the audience to enter the theater and search the “checkpoint” for their lives and proceed
to the future together while watching the play. Through seven groundbreaking programs that
span music, dance, drama, and online interactive, the audience will have the chance to reflect on
the different aspects of seven social issues—social identity, women’s self-realization, physical
and mental health, transitional justice, public participation, emancipation, and environmental
justice. The theater is not only a place for the audience to passively watch the show but also
provides opportunities for opening dialogue. The audience will be stimulated to receive the subtle
ideas and messages from the collision experience unique to the theater. All that disappeared has
once existed, and what has accumulated in the past will nurture us. Whether old or new, good
or bad, through the impact of nutrition, we will continue to move forward and turn the page for
            tomorrow together.
When it comes to tomorrow, one of the actions we can take today is to consider the measures
to build an eco-friendlier future in the name of “sustainability.” In this issue’s Arts Up to Speed,
we will introduce how “sustainability” is presented in the theater scene through international
concept sharing and co-creation. We also look forward to seeing more creative ideas that weave
the concept of sustainability into the theater.
