這個春天,怎麼特別有藝思
Art is in the Air of Spring
今年的年過得比較早,也宣告春天的提前來臨,儘管氣候還顯得乍暖還寒,大家好像也跟著早
早就動起來了。像是臺中歌劇院,已經將春季的新節目,在全新的藝術節名稱「NTT Arts NOVA
藝想春天」裡一字排開,檔檔都重磅到只能跟有選擇困難的人士說聲抱歉。
特別是舞蹈迷們,這回真的很難不被滿足。光是雲門五十週年、由林懷民親自排練四十五歲的
《薪傳》經典重製,就值得現在就坐在觀眾席等待。布拉瑞揚則找來阿爆擔任音樂統籌,在
《我.我們》第一部曲中,和舞者們一起跳進由0與1構成的電幻世代。黃翊更邀請書法大師董
陽孜、以及音像巨匠黑川良一跨界合作,將書法文字中的線條與筆觸,在《墨》裡化為瞬變的
光影與聲響,探索肢體流動的能量。加上謝杰樺×安娜琪舞蹈劇場的《肉身賽伯格》與瑞典哥
德堡舞團雙舞作《Skid》&《SAABA》,歌劇院將帶領觀眾一起舞,舞,舞出新氣象(村上春樹
書名借用一下)。
戲劇方面,新任亞維儂藝術節總監提亞戈.羅提吉斯,將攜手過往只有在金馬影展才能匆匆瞥
見的影后伊莎貝.雨蓓,詮釋契訶夫經典文本《櫻桃園》。大師中的大師羅伯.勒帕吉則再度
以《庫維爾1975:青春浪潮》登臺。香港全才作曲家與媒體藝術家梁基爵,則要將舞臺改成大
型敲擊樂器,突破想像、也突破音樂類節目的框架。
當然情人節的到來,也讓整個二月不只有了新意,更浪漫了起來。翻到本期阿特直送,看看要
怎麼深情說出「我要去看一場關於愛情的展覽」或是「我要去看一齣關於愛情的舞蹈」而毫無
尷尬癌。
This Lunar New Year arrives earlier, announcing the early arrival of spring. Although the weather
remains unstable, it does not stop people from getting ready for a new season. For example,
National Taichung Theater (NTT) has lined up the programs of the brand-new festival “NTT Arts
NOVA.” With so many must-sees, they are not sorry for causing you a “program dilemma.”
NTT Arts NOVA can satisfy every audience, especially dance lovers. The memorial remake of
Cloud Gate Dance Theatre’s 1978 classic Legacy, which is rehearsed by LIN Hwai-Min himself, is
worth enough for the wait in the theater. Bulareyaung Dance Company works jointly with ABAO,
who serves as music supervisor, to create tiaen tiamen Episode 1, and jump into the electric
fantasy composed of 0 and 1. HUANG Yi invites calligrapher TONG Yang-Tze and audiovisual artist
Ryoichi Kurokawa for a cross-boundary collaboration. They convert the lines and brushstrokes
in calligraphy into transient light and sound in Ink, exploring the flow energy of body movements.
In addition, with HSIEH Chieh-hua ╳ Anarchy Dance Theatre’s CyborgEros and GöteborgsOperans
Danskompani’s Skid & SAABA, NTT will lead the audience to dance dance dance (to borrow
Murakami Haruki’s title) for a refreshing change.
In terms of drama, Tiago Rodrigues, the new director of Festival d’Avignon, teams up with Isabelle
Huppert—we used to only get a glimpse of her at the Golden Horse Film Festival—to interpret
Chekhov’s classic La Cerisaie. Robert Lepage, one of the most influential theatre practitioners,
returns to Taiwan with Courville again. Finally, GayBird, the versatile composer and media artist
from Hong Kong, will transform the stage into a large-scale percussion instrument to break the
limitation of imagination and the framework of music programs.
As Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, February will surely be fresh and romantic. So, flip to this
issue’s Arts Up to Speed for tips to affectionately say, “I’m going to see an exhibition about love” or
“I’m going to see a dance performance about love,” and avoid any cringiness.
